Southampton Science Park Lab Refurbishment

Pinnacle, in collaboration with the University of Southampton Science Park Limited and Lambert Smith Hampton as the Project Manager, worked to deliver a solution that aligned with the client’s vision. To do this we carried out the following: 

– We incorporated a variety of Konvolve units, Pinnacle’s innovative and fully modular furniture system, to make the learning places readily adaptable to their ever-changing needs. Capacity units, single tray units, and wall-mounted units were also included, providing ample storage and workspace. 

– Mobile tables and mobile unit packs were used to create a dynamic, flexible environment, allowing for easy reconfiguration of the lab spaces as needed.

– Black stools with glides were added for comfort and durability, complementing the modern aesthetic of the labs. 

– Magnetic whiteboards were installed to facilitate brainstorming and ensure teams could work together effectively.

– Wall-mounted stainless steel handwash basins were positioned for convenience and hygiene, supporting the lab’s high standards of cleanliness.

– Installed a Full Mechanical System: This included both fresh air systems and air conditioning, essential for maintaining a comfortable and productive environment in a science-based setting.
