Richmond College STEM Lab & Classroom Fit-Out

Pinnacle worked on several spaces across three floors:

Forensic lab
We installed several Konvolve units, including three Gratnell single tray units, a multiple double-door unit, a double-door non-locking wall unit, a base unit, and a sink unit with a resin sink and a Swan neck laboratory double-operated single tap. At the front of the room, we placed a Teacher’s demo desk, which included Capacity base units, sink units with double doors, and a docking station for the mobile fume cupboard. Two large rectangular lab tables with docking stations were complemented by light grey student service pedestals that matched the flooring.

Classrooms
Ten classrooms were furnished with a consistent layout and setup, each featuring two large tables at the back, sled-base classroom chairs, an Infinity panel rectangle workstation, a mobile four-drawer pedestal, and an ICT chair on castors for the teacher.

Prep room
The Prep room was equipped with several key elements, including a Konvolve double-door non-locking unit, a mobile double-door non-locking unit, and a left-hand non-locking unit. We also placed large tables, Operator chairs on castors, and three light grey compartment lockers in the center, along with Capacity base units. We also installed a docking station for the mobile fume cupboard, a radioactive storage cupboard, and a chemical store, which included several hazardous cupboards.

Biology and Chemistry Science labs
For the two Biology and two Chemistry labs, we implemented a consistent layout and furniture scheme.  Various Konvolve units were installed, including left-hand door non-locking units, Gratnell single tray units, and double-door sink units. A Teacher’s demo desk was placed at the front, featuring Capacity units with double doors and sink units. Large rectangular lab tables were strategically positioned in the center, facing the front to promote engagement with the teacher. Each table was paired with grey student service pedestals.
