In 2022, Haverfordwest High VC School opened its doors, welcoming 1,500 students between the ages of 11 and 16, along with an additional 250 sixth form students.
The construction of the school was funded through a collaboration between Pembrokeshire County Council and the Welsh Government under their Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme.
Pinnacle were appointed by Morgan Sindall to provide the FF&E design and supply for this landmark project. We were proud to be part of delivering a superb educational facility for the students at Haverfordwest High.
What We Did
During the COVID lockdown, the team had to adapt to a completely new way of working. It marked the first time Pinnacle had to engage with clients and design the project remotely as a team. Despite the obstacles presented by the Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit, the school was successfully completed ahead of schedule in August 2022.
Some highlights of the project included the creation of customised designs for the sixth form social space with the café and the LRC (Learning Resource Centre), which included bespoke curved bookcases and seating.
