Following the successful completion of the FF&E project in their science classrooms in 2022, Forest School, a comprehensive secondary school for 11-16-year-olds, approached Pinnacle to refurbish their media room to create a modern, media-inspired design that encouraged learning and collaboration.
What We Did
To fulfill the client’s brief, we wanted to give the room a modern look and incorporate a media theme. We achieved this, by painting the ceiling dark grey and placing light grey hexagonal acoustic panels with LED strip lighting around them.
We implemented three acoustic booths to allow students to have some quiet study time or 1-2-1 meetings. We also installed a TeacherWall with a built-in teacher’s desk.
In the centre of the room, we positioned curved cable-managed workstations with integrated power and data modules. These workstations also incorporated soft seating for comfort. On the other side of the workstations, we placed loose white tables for additional space, meetings and collaboration.
We thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and are delighted with the result. By skilfully combining a contemporary look with media inspiration, we have achieved a perfect balance.
