Pinnacle designed a functional, student-centric solution for the Biology and Physics laboratories. The new layout incorporated custom furniture and essential lab features to foster both individual learning and group collaboration. Key design elements included:

• Storage and Organisation:To ensure optimal organisation and accessibility, Pinnacle installed a variety of storage solutions, including double-door cabinets, tray units, sink units, and drawer units. These were placed around the room’s perimeter and integrated into the teacher’s desk to maximise space and maintain a clutter-free, functional environment.
• Student Workstations:Central to the design were student benches, each equipped with 2-way gas taps, swan-neck taps, and docking stations with flush-mounted flanges. These benches were arranged to face the teacher’s desk, encouraging student engagement during lessons. To complement the benches, ergonomic black pepperpot stools were chosen for durability and comfort.
• Sink and Storage Solutions:Sinks were strategically placed on both side walls and within the student benches, ensuring easy access for hands-on experiments. Additional storage was provided by a custom-built storage wall and a teacher wall with a top cap panel, offering ample space for lab equipment and teaching materials.
• Specialised Features:A mobile fume cupboard was installed to meet safety requirements for experiments, enhancing both flexibility and safety in the laboratories. Additional accessories, such as coat hooks and notice boards, were also included to keep the rooms organised and provide areas for displaying information.
